my birthday!

Next Thursday, July 17th, we are having a party with Stereogum at Shangri-la in Greenpoint, with the soothing sounds of bands:

It's also my birthday (not sayin' which), so I'm declaring this my birthday party too, in a ruse to make everyone I know feel obligated to come.

I'll have plenty of extra booze stashed away in the back room for my friends, in addition to the complimentary supply of Newcastle at the bar.

There will also be free issues of Anthem Magazine, which (as far as I know - haven't seen it yet) has a feature of my photos from the Dark Meat tour and of the band HEALTH. So I guess we can drink to that too!
