About 16:9 Widescreen

16:9 Widescreen - View this group's most interesting photos on Flickriver
There are only 3 rules:
The images must be in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
Only pictures in landscape format.
Each member can post 5 photos per day.

Please don't post nudity or violent imagery of any kind - as this is a public group that is family-friendly, thanks.

If you aren't sure if your images are in the right aspect ratio, here are some pixel dimensions to help get you started :

• 2500 x 1406
• 1920 x 1080
• 1600 x 900
• 1280 x 720
• 1024 x 576
• 1000 x 563
• 800 x 450
• 640 x 360
• 500 x 282

If you own a copy of Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, you can easily crop an image down to 16:9 by the following steps :
1.) Select the marque tool from the tools palette.
2.) In the Options palatte, next to Style use the pull down menu and select, Fixed Aspect Ratio.
3.) In the Width box, type: 16 and in the Height box, type: 9.
4.) Use the Marque tool to make your 16:9 selection.
5.) Crop your image and save it in your desired format.

Please consider inviting your contacts to the group, thanks!
