Will you REALLY post 365 pics from your library over the next year?

We will! But I wonder how many other folks are really committed to the idea. Can you do it?

Yep. Easy peasy. I am numbering mine so I can keep track. We are doing huge renos (building an extension), so the timing couldn't be better!

I LOVE the idea of numbering them. I believe Pierce County is doing that as well with their "365 Library Days" pics. Nice easy way to develop a time line.

Oooohhhh triviaqueen! What a great idea to number them. I might have to go back and do that! And yes, I plan to get 365 up!

We're posting a single, numbered photo per work day. That will miss the 365 mark within a calendar year, but we'll just go an extra month or two to reach the total. The one-a-day limit, on the other hand, encourages variety. It's a great project, libraryman.

Our library just joined but I'm trying to post at least 2-3 photos every day that I work (Tue-Sat). This will put us in the 500 range if I don't get sick.

We started a little late in the game - like today - but we will keep going.

I hope so. Numbering them is smashing idea! Our plan is to finish by the end of the school year. (And looking at our numbers, I better start walking around with camera in pocket.)

We are way behind, but I still have hope!

To keep track of how many photos I should have posted, I use this calendar calculator. Put the date you started the project as the first date and today's date as the second date, and you'll get the number of days. If you are aiming for one per day, you can compare that number from the calculator to the number of photos in your 365 Library Days set.

I am very far behind thanks to a broken ankle and two whole months off work. I've been back a month, but too busy to remember to take photos while I am there! I am going back to July and August, though, and posting what I had left... so the weather won't match, but they'll still be in order!

We surpassed the 365 photos! 3.5 months before our one year will be up! (We began May 14/07) We are so proud and will definitely be continuing with more to come for however long!

We just got to 367 today and I've only been doing this since October. Of course we've got 7 libraries in our district so I've probably got 7 times as many things to take pictures of here than most people who only have 1 library to deal with.
I really enjoy taking photos of what's going on in our library district.

Dude we are so far behind! We are giving ourselves a little grace period (until the end of the academic year, which is about a month's padding), but we are committed to meeting that new, improved deadline.

No, we won't be posting 365 pix within a year unfortunately. I gave it my best shot. (ha!) I guess I should have been more realistic about things.
1. I didn't have a camera for most of the past year.
2. Libraries have cameras but since the equipment is/was new they weren't the first thing they thought of.
3. Privacy issues needed to be worked through first.
4. Uploading process is quite complicated at each library. Upload times can be slow AND slow the whole network down to a crawl.
5. I work in an office off a library site (I was in a library when I first started this) and really, there's only so many pictures I can take of my desk...

It was a lot of fun though. I'll be continuing until I hit that magic 366 mark! (Leap year.)

We've posted 365 pictures since October. Our school year is now finished. It's interesting to look back at the history of our year. Surprising how much of it gets overwritten in our memories! We have several major personnel changes for next year. I wonder how our images will be different with new eyes looking at what happens daily in the library. This has been fun.
