It used to be my Olympus Stylus 400D. I loaned it to a family member for a trip a few months ago and have not seen it since... these days, I take my Canon Rebel XT almost everywhere. At some point I may get a nice P&S that is easier to travel with.

i keep a little Canon S30 point-and-shoot in the bag that i take to work everyday. it's also the camera of choice when i go cycling, mainly because it's small and light (every ounce counts when it comes to cycling).

When I first converted to digital just short of 2 years ago, I bought an inexpensive JVC which was reliable at 2MP. It's small enough to use as the backup, but I think I'm spoiled by the image quality from the Nikon now and virtually always have that with me or in the car.

Since 18 months I use my Canon Powershot G5. It's almost too large but just fits into most jackets pockets and it does a good job.

Ha, well I have a veritable choice:
1. An old fixed focus cheap and nasty Olympus film camera. Has a tendency to not stay shut.
2. A slightly less old Agfa CL18, a mighty .3MP at high res., again fixed focus and with the added bonus of refusing to go without being plugged into the computer. So far I haven't got a very long USB cable, so am limited as to where I can use this.
3. A Fuji Finepix F10, which has none of the problems of the two formers, so is my camera of choice.

I've been carrying around my Nikon D50 whenever I go out, but I'm finding the size a little inconvenient.
I'll have to keep my eye out for a good deal in the after-Christmas sales for something more portable.

Originally I had an Olympus C3000Z which was a great little carry-around camera. However, it became apparent that my daughter would need a digital camera for her architecture courses this fall so I gave her the Olympus and bought myself a Nikon D50.
I'm totally in love with the D50 but I usually have the 70-300mm lens on it so it isn't handy carry around and I don't like to leave it in my car under extreme conditions. I was lucky to find a slightly used Olympus C700UZ on Ebay last month. It is only 2.1MP but with a 10X optical zoom it still takes great pictures and fits in my jacket pocket or purse. It was a cheap enough purchase that I feel free to carry it everywhere worryfree!

My Canon 20D gets virtually 100% of the workload. It's been a while since I shot with the Canon A70.

Been happy with my new Canon SD550 (Elph). Fits easily in a pocket, turns on in a flash, and has very little shutter lag. Also good for short video clips. Great image quality, too!

I, too am very happy with my Canon Elph SD 450 (not as nice as the SD 550) it fits nicely in my purse and pockets of my coats.
Got tired of being refused entry to places with my "real" camera so the elph stays with me at all times, especally durning the work week. Only draw back is the nasty flash...

Recently bought an old Soviet rangefinder: FED2 with a collapsable Industar 22 f3.5 50mm lens. With the lens pulled down, it fits into my coat pocket like a hip flask :) Will have to take it out and see how easy it is to snap away!

I *wish* I could say that I had a choice... I use a Nikon coolpix 4600. I'm not too happy with it, really. I bought it because my partner bought one a year before I got mine, and his is FANTASTIC.
But they made changes to the model since then... And I'm not crazy about it's "finer points."
But when I want to take a really wonderful pic that is worth the film and the time, I either use my 35mm Maxxum 4 (I have a handful of great lenses for it) or my vintage Canon slr (it's so old that it doesn't have a model # that I can locate anywhere) with a wide-angle...
But to get back to my original point, my carry0around camera is a coolpix, and I wish I had bought something a little more expensive, by a different maker. Nikon is great for SLR - but it seems like not too many people are very happy with their non-slr digital nikons... Alas, on a college kid's budget, the nikon will have to do the trick for a littel while longer! :)

My carry everywhere camera is a Nikon CoolPix 4600. I've gotten some great shots with this camera. In a pinch, I'll use my cell phone, but only as a last resort.
I have started carrying my Canon 20D on walks around town and have gotten some good shots that would have been difficult to get with the Nikon.

the only downside to my wonderful 5D + 24-105 combo - hardly an ABC camera but I do my best ;-)
I use a Pentax Optio S that is tiny and portable but a little short on usability sometimes. Still looking for the ideal P&S...

I used to have a Nikon coolpix 950. Since I got my Nikon D50 that's definitely my carry-along camera. I virtually have it with me everywhere I go, except for the toilet but that may change too...

It is a very rare moment that you won't find me without my Nikon D50, which most likely will be sporting the 50mm f/1.8 (though the 35mm f/2 has been getting some attention lately).

My Casio Exilim.
I had an older one (the first one they put out) which served me very well until I upgraded earlier this year to the EX-S600.
They are tiny and the picture quality is great. I carry it with me everywhere I go in small a credit card purse.
It's gotten to the point that I am uncomfortable leaving the house without it. I might miss something important.
I would wholeheartedly reccomend this camera to anyone interested in a quality images and good functionality in a small camera.
