About Underground Atlanta

Welcome to Atlanta's underground - where Atlana Flickr Folks come to talk shop.

Atlanta has a very strong local flickr-base. We get together on the surface for meetups as friends and photostrolls as photographers.

We love to discuss flickr things as well as equipment and techniques. This group is a supplement to the Atlanta Group which is the place to go for all things Atlanta/flickr/social.

We will just discuss equipment and techniques here on a smaller scale than some of the larger equipment, technique and other camera specific groups.

This can be useful because we\'re basically all friends here, know eachother, can discuss things from photostrolls and other common experiences, etc.

The original idea was for a Canon 20D user group because there are a number of us, but I thought it would be better to open it up a bit. In order to keep things nicely organized, please title your topic in such a way as to make clear what you\'re discussing.

Here are a few examples:

[Nikon D70] How do I make the grid go away?
[General Technique] Some general guidelines on how to take night photos using examples from the Roswell photostroll.

[Canon 20D] How to take great night shots using the 20D\'s long exposure noise reduction feature.
