Why you love black and white

Hello , i love black and white , its the only film i ever shoot with, i always use 120 Tri-x usaly at 400 but sometimes pushed to 800 grain gets to messy for me after that
I love black and white as it has a feel to it that draws you in , like once you remove tha distraction of colour your free to see the real beauty,
but why do you shoot black and white?
