ISO 1600. Okay this has a flash, but I still think it qualifies as a LOW light image since it was almost pitch black and room was too wide to light up. Oh yeah, it is also underwater. It REALLY has to be view large to see the detail.

This was the first day with my 5D and 70-200 f/2.8 IS and I was blown away by both the IS of the lens and the low-light/high ISO capabilities of the 5D.
1/20th sec @ f/2.8 and 145mm
Yes there is some post: Mostly adjust curves/levels, and worked on the color of light on statue, and a bit of USM.

How are you guys getting anything useable over 800 iso? Software? Noise Ninja? Everything that I've taken higher than 800 either has to be converted to BW for an acceptable grainy look or just deleted all together. Any tips?
