Flickr Meet-ups on the Cape, Summer 2008

Hey folks, we should plan a few meetups on the cape this summer-- maybe a couple (or more?) during July and August, so lots of folks can participate.
Does anyone have some ideas about where to meet? Something besides a sandy beach blanket? Any hidden gems in seldom seen neighborhoods? Maybe different parts of the Cape can each host a meet? I'd be interested in organizing one out near PTown.

It sounds like fun to me.... there's loads of hidden gems around the cape, the challenge is the summer traffic...
Ptown is always a great place for a shoot, I always make a point of getting there for the Carnival Parade in mid August. I also try to get there at least once a month during the course of the year..

I'll be staying out at two of the artist beach shacks in Ptown this year, one at the end of May and one in September. Maybe out there if someone wants a walk and a cool, rustic location?

Lucky you, Chris! Which shack?
I'll be in P-town June 6-16 and Truro July 27-Mid August. I'll try to think of meeting places. There's a really neat trail up to the top of a hill witha spectacular view near the Hostel on the north Pamet Rd...parking is limited, but possible.

The Fowler Shack. It was great and I've got lots of photos coming. Will be at the Margo Gelb shack for 2 weeks in September to finish up the project.

I'm heading for P-town on Thursday and spending the night in a shack with my wife (the one pictured above). I suspect that the menu will be the same.
I'll be painting in P-town and Truro for the next three weeks. If you see me (I look pretty much like the photo above, but wear a blue cap while I'm working) say hi. I'm also having an opening at the Wohlfarth Gallery in P-town on August 8th. You are all invited.

I'll have to make a point of looking for you, if I get to ptown in the next couple of weeks, you'll recognize me, I'm the one with a cast on her right foot... lol.. I'll have to see if I can get there for your opening .. that would be so much fun.
Will you be in Ptown for Carnival ?
