Hi, there!
 |
I just joined, not only this group, but also flickr itself. :]
I just got a couple pictures of Naku, Mystic Aquarium in Conneticuts female Beluga. I plan on getting a picture of Inuk, their male on loan from NY. He is rather gorgeous.
Hopefully, I can get my pictures back from when I went to Cape Cod. I got a couple of a Minke, and quite a few of some Humpbacks, one of which; her name was pearl. She seemed to follow us around. It got deleted off of my camera, I'm hoping to get them back soon!

Welcome! I like the beluga picture that is straight on. I tried to take pictures of the Beluga's at Sea World's Wild Arctic exhibit this past weekend, but didn't do too well. My specialty are orca.
I look forward to seeing more of your pictures!

Thanks! I'm taking a marine biology class there, so we got to see them up close and personal. And, of course, I had my camera on the ready. I have plenty more, and I plan to get them up here soon. It's too sad- The only Cetaceans they have are the Belugas. At one point they had Dolphins and Harbor Porpoises- But one of the two dolphins died so they had to send the other to another aquarium, and the Porpoise didn't deal with its rescue too well.
