Hi guys!

I'm a student at a university in South Africa. I belong to a campus missions organization. We want to launch a project called Students Unite Against Poverty (SUAP) on our campus and hopefully collect a lot of clothing, blankets and non-perishable foods. The idea is to print a banner about 7m X 14m. We need some photo's, obviously pretty high resolution and we obviously need the permission to use the photo's.

I'm looking for photo's of people of all races, countries, ages with that kind of hopeless look in their eyes.

If anyone is willing to help, just let me know!

Regards
Val

I think your best bet is to browse Flickr's immense archives by using the search tool based on tags and then communicate directly with the photographers who's images best suit your needs.

Another recommendation is to preferably raise funds instead of material goods as such funding will better assist an NGO of your preference, working within the area of poverty reduction, to fulfil their objectives within their programmes working to change the poverty reality of communities or peoples in need. There are many worthwhile grass-roots projects making an impact on impoverished communities.

Good luck with your initiative!
