Our local VisionWalk, which raises money for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, is coming up in June. So I am getting serious about organizing my walking team, Team Eureka, and finding support. I would like to ask that you consider helping out our local walk in some way; with your feet, with your checkbook or even with your camera.

The walk, which takes place on the morning of June 7th at Lake Lynn, is a great opportunity for doing some great volunteer photography. There are lots of people and activities (including face painting) and a beautiful setting. A couple of us local Flirckr people set up a Flickr Group, www.flickr.com/groups/visionwalk/, for us to share our photos.

This is important to me as I am legally blind, soI hope to see you there. Thanks!
