The totals there are continuing to rise to staggering numbers :-(
with millions left without shelter from the weather.
Central America's Hurricane Stan totals are still rising too. :-(
So many need help. So many places all over the world.
May all peoples work together to help now,
and help prevent future catastrophe.
Replant trees in memory of all the dead worldwide,
and choose sustainable cooking fuel sources and farming and delevopment practices, so vegetation can protect coasts
and hillsides, as Nature intended.

..all the victims of the Asian earthquake...
In 1931, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Hawkes Bay region of NZ and the city of Napier was essentially destroyed. In the memorial garden, this plaque serves as a reminder. I thought the words on it were well done:

Please say a prayer for all the dying, starving & any human being who are going through any sort of hardships. Please thank the lord for your blessings so that the next time you feel like you have the worst life on the face of the earth - take a minute and think about it and compare ur life to the less fortunate.
This is a personal request - please say a prayer for my father who is going through blindness...he may never see my 7yr old sister grow up.

i was practicly 30 seconds behind a man on a mortorcycle get hit by a car this evening as i left work. i did a ramdomn act of kindness and tried to keep the passenger of the car calm until help arrived. the driver of the car is a doctor and was attending him. her friend just wanted to help the driver but there was nothing she could do until help arrived.
long story short at this time i do not know the status of the gentleman that was hit but it did not look good.
please say a prayer that this gentleman is alright. i know this is vague but i can't NOT post this here. you are all so kind and i hope every little prayer helps. thank you.

Please say a prayer that I find my missing mom she has been missing since 1986 and I put a missing report on her and I just found out last year that the local police dept never put the missing report on her so I have to start all over again but the good news she was pulled over In 1993 for a wrong turn so she Is out there somewhere and you can read her story's and see her pictures all the Info at

Please pray for the victims of Hurricane Wilma in South Florida. I am thinking of my friend Doug who has been without food, water and gas since Wilma hit. I am praying that he is able to get power soon and that he will be able to get on with the plans that he had made for his life and future. So many terrible disasters, especially the hurricane! It is unbelievable.
And !efatima, my prayers, too are with AwfulSara and the others requesting prayer here.

Some good news -- Doug has food, so now it's a wait for return to normalcy.
I would also like to ask for prayer for my dear online friend Connie, who has traveled to her brother's bedside as he is nearing the end after a long battle with lung cancer. Also for this brother, Julian, for peace and freedom from pain in his last hours, and for the family in dealing with the pain of his passing.

Needing a pray for my sister and her husband. He shattered his ankle several weeks ago. On Monday he undergoes surgery to graft new bone and fuse the bone.
They could use some quick healing and peace in their lives.

he had an accident at school
he had a disslocation of bones in one of his fingers...
he was in great pain that he fainted and when he woke up he crawled to nurse coz he couldent gt up
imagine that no teacher or student noticed that he didnt come back from the lunch break..
After 4 hours they called my mum to talk him to the hospital
(what kind of school is that)
thank god his ok now after the surgery... but no one really knows if his finger will go back to its normal state.
i really think that my little bro needs yr prayers...

please say a pray for the woman my friend helped today.
her car went up in flames with everything she owned. she was on her way to a homeless shelter. she had her 2 children in the car and they are safe. my friend stayed with her and drove her to the shelter. a cafe nearby fed her children and gave her $200. yet my friend still wishes she could do more. when she has already done more than most would.
please pray that this woman and her children can get back on their feet.

Our friend who has been a left-arm amputee since childhood injured her right shoulder and has to have rotator-cuff surgery. She'll be without the full use of her one good arm for about three months and will need around-the-clock care while it heals. It's going to be a very rough time for her.

please say a prayer for my uncle. he is 74 and i just found out his health if poor. he is anemic, his bone marrow is not producing bone marroow anymore and due to his age he is not a candidate for a bone marrow transplant. so every 2 months he is required to hava a blood transfusion. and this is how he is going to live out the remainder of his life.
any prayers you could pass along would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I've heard there's been much success with the use of Tamoxifen for reducing the risk of reoccurrence of breast cancer. Glad Linda is not feeling any side effects and may she also continue to be cancer-free. :)
