there's no definition to life because even though we are 'living' it, we still barely know 10% of it. we spend our lives trying to unravel this mystery and every person we meet and every incident we go through in life, only is a form of educating process - God's way of showing us' hey...this is life'. and many times we're confused. when good things happens, god says 'hey this life' and when bad things happen, he again says 'this is life'.
so it's upto us to decipher it according to our own experiences. life, for me is a blessing..it's a chance u get only if u're lucky enough and it's an opportunity to see god's many wonders.
it's such a vast topic, i feel like i'm almost blabbing away :D i'll come back and add some intelligent input a bit later :P

We can do something to help poor people like this boy. While few of us can travel to Afghanistan and help the poor directly, we can make a difference in other ways. One small way to help is through the one campaign. It is not much and it isn't hard. You can also contact your representatives (congress and senate) and let them know you care about ending poverty and hunger. Tell them that this issue matters to you and that you want them to make a difference.
Most people think that the US gives a lot of money in aid to other countries, this is a common mistake. In fact the US government gives less than 1% of the GDP in aid to other countries (less than 0.15% in 2003). Most of what little aid we give goes to Israel and Egypt as opposed to poor countries. Many other countries give more money than the US (per capita, by sheer monetary amount the US gives the most aid but we are the richest country).

I believe life is about being lived.
It doesn't have to have any meaning.
It doesn't have to get any usefulness nor justifications.
Why would it need to be justified.
I believe we are like fire sparks, making little luminescent trajectories in the whole space. Just the beautifulness of this movement in itself is sufficient.
That's what life is about. Just a beautiful movement. For it.
I remember yesterday. I was listenning to Brian Eno. A phrase he said "So, this is just another day on earth.". I felt it's what I'd like to say myself my last day on earth.
So, this is just another day on earth.

For me, it's bittersweet -- with the good, there's always the bad..you just can't get away from it. and what I try to remember is to focus on the good, don't dwell so much on the bad. and stay away from negative people who bring you down. :P

Sometimes I feel that words don't make justice to this world, some thinks and thought are impossible to be explained.
For me.. as a whole it is the ultimate adventure.
It is about feeling the love, curiosity,
experimenting. I like it to feel it as it felt when I was 5 years old dicovering something new,like taste of a sweet cup of hot cocoa in a cold morning .
I Guess some times good, some times it's not so good. But balance will always shift so i'ts just about waiting for it to come up good again
