About FestiFools Parade 2008 Photography Show at Sweetwaters

This group is for submitting FestiFools 2008 parade images for a juried group show to take place at Sweetwaters, on Washington St. in Ann Arbor. If you are looking for a place to post all your FestiFools 2008 images, or do not wish to participate in the juried group show, please post your images to flickr.com/groups/festifools/


Important!
Before you submit your images, please make sure you can meet all the deadlines and requirements. Because this is a timely event, we are condensing the entire process into only 8 days!

Submissions Due 8pm, Wednesday April 9

Image content:
Submit images taken during the FestiFools 2008 event this Sunday, April 6 in downtown Ann Arbor. The official event time is between 4 and 5pm, but images taken shortly before that time (during set up) and shortly after that time (going home) are eligible, too.

To submit images
Post your submissions to the flickr group flickr.com/groups/festifools2008-sweetwaters/ (i.e., this group). Each photographer is limited to posting 5 images (the flickr group automatically tracks this). We are looking for a wide variety of images from a wide variety of photographers. Around 20 images will be selected.

We will notify photographers of accepted images no later than 8am, Thursday April 10.

All accepted images must be printed, framed, and ready to hang, and be dropped off on Monday, April 14 between 10:06am-6pm at Red Shoes (a funky, handmade, retro gift shop), 332 S. Ashley, Ann Arbor.

Frame requirements:
Frames are required. Mattes are optional.

Given the location, Sweetwaters on Washington in Ann Arbor, bigger images are better. I currently have images hanging at Sweetwaters sized 16x24", and they could be bigger!

Minimum size (including frame): 11x16"
Maximum size (including frame): 20x30"

Ready to hang means we can hang your piece without having to add any additional hardware to the back of your frame.
