Someone had used the vertical version of the widget in their profile, and the text of their profile was aligned to the right. How do you do this?

<<<...Buddhamountain, your Widget link seems to be incomplete. It should start with an html code <a href=...... and end with the ... /a> code. Try making the Widget again and copy the full html code.

<<<.. Buddhamountain, I'm no expert with these things so I don't know what else to tell you... maybe, make sure none of your code is highlighted before you hit enter so nothing gets deleted. Good luck!

it's a great toy, thanks so much :) is there any chance of being able to generate a version with a transparent background though? My blog's background is really tricky to match, and has graphics to boot. The version I made for my profile looks brilliant though.

Hello, I've had the profile widget up on my myspace page for a little while now, with no problems. However, today, It's showing my contacts as "0" and my sets as "0". My photos counter and explore counter are working fine. Also, in one of the little photo windows, there is a blank one. This has never happened before, either.
Any advice on how to correct this would be great! Thanks much!

Any reason why the number of contacts excludes Friends and Family?

I have to agree with Viejito. My profile widget shows I have 67 contacts, but I actually have 69 contacts, 66 of them listed as Friends.

I'm having the same problem as buddhamountain did (in earlier post). Copying and pasting code is not that hard! I paste it in the text area, click on Save, but it just doesn't appear. I've tried everything. Different browsers, checking code to make sure it's complete, making sure info I entered in fd's site is correct, etc. Nothing works, and I really want to use this widget. If it's relevant, when I go to Edit Profile to check the code to see what's going on, only a piece of it is there (obviously the problem, but I don't know why). Also, it's fine when I create it - right user, right number of photos, sets, etc. Everything seems fine, including the code. It's something that clearly happens after I click Save. It just doesn't seem to stick.
Any suggestions on what could be going wrong?
Thanks in advance. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion, missuspie, but it doesn't work to refresh.
I paste what appears to be valid code (it works on fd's site when i see the preview)...but what's left when I go back in to check after I see it's not appearing is just one line of code.
So a chunk of it seems to just disappear (same issue others spoke of earlier), but I have no idea why. It just doesn't seem to take for some reason i can't figure out.
Thanks again...

Where are you posting the code? There has been some problems posting to Flickr profiles.

Hi, Pinky. I tried pasting your code into my own profile and it worked. Here it is again. I don't know what to say except to make sure you're pasting all of the code. I suppose it's possible that there's something magic about your profile page that prevents it from working but I don't know what that might be.

Hi fd, I have no idea either, but thanks much for checking the code and posting it here. I will assume, though, that it's not because I'm not able to paste simple code into a box. As I said, the preview is always perfect - works like a charm, and I've checked & double checked the code when I copy it from your site and paste it into mine. I've also inserted other code into the page and it's worked great (Flickr Spell, just for example).
So what was the issue with the other folks who had a similar problem with it, the widget not appearing?
Would you be comfortable with going into my profile page? Since you're the programmer you could surely see what's happening. If not, it's fine. I can handle being widgetless, thanks for your help, and I'll just leave it be. ;)
This is the code I'm given to copy & paste...perhaps it'll help:

I'm also experiencing the same problem (w/ the chunk of code disappearing) right now.. (9 months from the previous post).
If there is a solution, can someone please bring it to my attention?
Thanks!
