my #1 question would be, will the gallery wall appear in a photo? :) or a series? possibly from people who can make it up there. it would be a nice thing to see, whether ours are printed or not. must be quite a sight... it was a nice idea...
funny stuff - not sure why, i always go for 1500x1500, rarely less. coincidence :)

My photo was uploaded on March 5th. It has an original size of 3872 X 2592, but the EXIF data showed only 1280 X 857 after using the flickr uploader to upload my photos to flickr. I used the "Replace this photo" feature tonight and re-uploaded the photo, but now the EXIF shows no size at all. But when I click "All Sizes" the original size now show as 3872 X 2592 after re-uploading (great!!), but it may be too late to make the wall at 111 Minna.....bummer.

Happy Birthday anyway flickr. I'll try to make the wall again next year.

"...and there were at least 1,500 pixels on the shortest dimension...."
Would that imply that only PRO account holders can participate?
Though the picture I uploaded had 1500 pixels on the smaller dimension, the largest available size on flickr measures only 710x1024.

"Flickr admins will/would be able to access the biggest size."
It would be reassuring to get a clarification from the admins in this regard, though.

To Whole Wheat Toast: Free accounts do not have the Original Size unless you upgrade to Pro status.
And because I prefer not to upload sizes where the biggest size is 1600 pixels per inch, my photos could not qualify for the printouts. Sizes bigger than 1600 pixels per inch for me will take too long to upload, and also, with many, I crop out excessive backgrounds before uploading. And most, including those I modify to change the resolution, are uploaded at the original size of 1024 by 768, and at 72 pixels per inch for the resolution, which takes less time for me to upload on a dial-up connection.
EDIT - Due to the slow process of uploading on a dial-up connection, I actually am forced to change the resolution to 300 pixels per inch, save the changes, and then do the uploading.

Wondering about mine too, I am looking for photographers who got photos from the party and exhibit. I just saw a few of my Contact's photos with some of them and they looked great on the walls in the gallery!
