Hi, I'm Kerrie. I'm 32 years old & live in the Philadelphia suburbs. I have been taking pictures for years but didn't get serious about learning photography until the last year or two. I have taken several photography & photoshop classes at my local community college, and upgraded my camera to a DSLR (Rebel XT) in Jan/Feb '07. Hi, I'm Molly. I live in Tucson, Arizona. I'm a new mom, and an illustrator. I doubt I'll have much time to draw for awhile so I decided to try my hand at photography. I take a lot of photos of my kid since she's always there and I like the challenge of getting a good shot of someone who will not pose or sit still (or sit up for that matter).
I use a Canon EOS Kiss Digital X and an older pocket Sony.

My Canon is one of the best things that could have ever happened to me! It has helped me to reach a level of confidence in photography...I never knew I had. I must say that photoshoots on location is one of my favorites with child photography right behind! I am a Colorful person...therefore I love working with color!

Hello,
I'm BeccaG and I live in the UK.
I was given a digi camera a couple of years ago which rekindled my enjoyment of photography. Since then it's become more of a passion and I'm forever trying to make more time for it. Last christmas I was given a DSLR by my man and try to take a shot every day if I can. However, I'm about to have baby number 2 and find fitting my life in around that difficult enough.
At least I'll have a new subject to photograph very soon.
I'm inspired by everything around me and will take pictures of everything that catches my eye.

I'm 15 years old and am originally from Los Angeles, but now live in a small town in Oregon.
I shoot mainly candid portraits, but every now and then I'm paid to shoot theater, sports or an actual portrait session. Currently I'm working on a CD cover for one of my father's clients.

I shoot all Nikon, with my current fave being my D200 with an assortment of prime and zoom lenses. I do portraits...natural light (available) is my preference but have a nice strobe and soft-box set up if necessary, and I mostly only use those on newborns and maternity sessions. I prefer to go on location for shoots...I get bored in a studio.
I do 3-4 portrait sessions a week from Sept-Dec...a little less (2 a week) the rest of the year. I avoid weddings at ALL costs. I am also a mixed media artist and instructor...so my time is fairly well split between the two.
I am new to Flickr...but quickly becoming addicted...so hope to be able to meets some new friends...learn a few things and have sme fun with this talented group.

hi all. i'm melissa. i'm 36 and i live in a town about an hour north of austin, texas. i've been using a camera in one form or another for... well, about 30 years now. i was a filmie from way back, then got into digital about 5 years ago, but have recently switched back to film as my favorite form of photography. medium format to be specific. something about film that you just can't fake with digital. there's also something about unrolling a roll of film off of a developing reel in the darkroom and seeing the fruits of your labor unfolding frame by frame, and the smell of fixer... i'm so glad to have the smell of fixer stinking up my house again! i have a portrait studio in my home and i do - with much trepidation - shoot weddings from time to time. i love to shoot minutia, candid portraits in portrait sessions, and i try to make a big deal of the details.
i shoot with a mamiya c220 TLR, i have 2 modified holgas, a polaroid 250 land camera and - yes - i still have my digital camera, an olympus e-500 dSLR. it even gets used from time to time...

Hi, I'm Darcy. I live in Virginia and have been taking pictures for quite some time. My dad was a professional photographer (taking pictures of the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Janis, Alice Cooper and others) so I've had lots of talkings about photography.
Currently I work at a photography studio. There I shoot with a Canon 20D and at home, I just got a Nikon D40.
Comments and constructive criticism are welcome! (The ones taken in the studio were scanned in, that's why the colours are a bit off)

I'm 15... I am Australian and have lived in India for the last 4 years. Alot of my photos are from India, but I've managed to take a few Aussie shots aswell... I have been seriously interested in photography for... maybe a year? And I would like to maybe take baby/children's portraits as a side job when I'm older (as well as being a midwife... can you tell I'm a bit of a baby freak??!). Hello!
I'm Georgie. 20 years young from East London. Well, I should be moving back there soon. Currently mooching about High Wycombe. No no, I'm not a terrorist although I knew a couple who were arrested.
I decided to get a Canon 350D after getting fed up with a compact camera. Since then photography has been like a therapy. Keeps the mind busy and gives me something to focus on.
I've always had a need to take photos. Mainly because one of my biggest fears is losing my mind and with that, memory. In the digital age now I can rely on technology to back me up!
Creativity runs in the family and I have no talent at all! We've all got our own little skill and hopefully I'm the photographic one of the bunch!

Hi there - I'm Melissa, and I've been Flickr-ing since January of '07. It's kind of changed the way I *do* photography, and I love it for that reason. I've been extremely into taking pictures since I was quite young, got more serious in college with a few b+w film classes, but then didn't do a whole lot until, again, Flickr happened. I bought a Canon 30D last spring (with my tax refund! yay!) and haven't put it down since.

I use a Canon Rebel XT and a Fuji s7000 for digital.
I have a Canon Rebel 2000 for film, but never use it.
I'm 24 (well tomorrow I'll be) and have been shooting since I was about 15.
I've always shot bands and I've done portraits in the past.
I have only recently started to REALLY study photography (terminology, composition, etc) in the past year or so.
I always just shot whatever I though looked cool/interesting. People liked them, but I can see my shooting is better now that I'm learning more technical points.

I'm currently in Wyoming, USA and hoping to go to Norway next year for college!
I love photography (obviously) and music is a huge chunk of my life as well.
I hope to make a career out of both.
I currently own a Canon Digital Rebel XT and a 1987 Canon EOS 650 film camera. They're my babies.

Hi from Detroit. I recently purchased my first digital camera last month. Now that I'm comfortable with my camera (although there's still a lot to learn!), photography's quickly becoming an obsession of mine. It's really amazing to look back at pictures from just a month ago and see how much I'm learning and changing as a photographer.

Hi girls! I'm so excited to came across this group and to see so many girls photographers here. Glad to see u all here and hope that we can share our experiences together.
I took up photography few months ago and my first camera was a film SLR.
I finally got a new DSLR D50 kit Nikon as a present and I'm currently so passionate into photography.
I'm 23 years old Accounting Undergraduate.
I love taking street photography and also animals pictures particularly my dog at home that has always been my model.
I'm currently learning to take nice scenery views on sunsets and clouds.
Do drop by and have a look on my photographs and I appreciate all comments given to me.

Hi!
I'm Lii and I live in Estonia in a small place. I just finished basic school and now I'm going in high school. I'm 16 years old. I stared to take photographing more seriously when my dad bought mytruelove Canon EOS 350d. For now I just love this camera! I like when my photos have come good. So, i love photography, music - singing, guitar, keyboard.. and laughing 'cause it can make all so positive, i like summer also winter, 'cause it's so special time for me. So, i love snow! Most important to me is my family and my friends.
In my dreams, i'd like to have some photo that i could but it on my wall. I'm very critical to my pictures and i like when somebody critic my photos, so i know what should i do better next time.

Hi everyone! I was so happy to have found this group :)
My name is Rachel and I am 20 years old. I was always drawing or doing some sort of art form but after I turned 13 I took up photography and I never stopped! I'm self taught, but when the time came to choose a college I decided on an art school. I'm inspired by vintage photographs and I love the feel and look to them, so many of my works are manipulated in the fact that textures and other things are added. I love exploring abandoned buildings, photographing animals, and I recently have started working with models also :)

My name's Samantha and whenever i introduce myself i feel like im in an AA meeting and that i should add "& i'm an alcoholic"
but i'm not. I'm 17 and got into photography about a year and a half ago maybe, by going to shows and taking pictures with a point and shoot.
I want to go to college for photography.
Anyone know any good photography schools let me know about them.
preferably in California, but if they are in other states its all good.

My name is Emma and I am almost 15 years old. I have been interested in photography for about two years now. My main focus is film photography. I enjoy the effects much more in film and I am less tempted to edit them ;). I just purchased my first lomography camera (a Diana+) and I can't wait to see the outcome of that. I am really interested in pictures of people. I am really interested in most people's different features and body movements and how they turn out in pictures.

I'm Yvette, 28 in Kansas City Missouri...home of great BBQ, Blues and the ever loathed mullet...we are literally the freaking melting pot of the world right here in the heart land...I'm 15 min from everything...big city, big country, big fountains, big bigness...what a fab place for a photographer to dwell. I do portraits of my friends to experiment, I've been told I'm excellent at nature photos, which are usually taken through my car window.
