About Take The Bus: Canada & US long distance bus experience

It NOT about the tour bus experience..

More about Greyhound and partners: the depots, the rural to urban shoppers & commuters, the runaways, the tourists.

Its not so much about the vehicles themselves though bus pictures are certainly most welcome. You might want to focus on the common details of the bus or the environment of the bus depot instead.

Its more about exploring the way of life that goes with long distance bus travel in Canada and the US. At the present time it is a mostly unpleasant experience but it is time to breath some life back into the idea and divert attention from the sudden surge of overly romanticized gas guzzling "road trips" that are regaining popularity in society.

Pictures from foreign travelers in Canada & the US are most welcome - and in fact are probably most relevent. Pictures OF buses in other countries should not be submitted because they wouldn't fit the theme.

No Train pictures. If the train station and bus station are the same place and the train is in the background then that is OK.

Vans and chicken buses (old style schoolbuses) are ok as long as they are not charter buses transporting a group. Must be a public bus.

I hope these are not too many rules. There are over 300 bus groups on Flickr so I'd like to keep this one confined to the long distance public bus theme.
