How do i know if my printer uses carbon in the ink??
It;s my first time and I don't want to waste bulbs if it's not going to work. I have a little hp printer on my computer that i was going to print the design on and I think I need to xerox it... If there's something more I need to do please let me know. Also, any other beginner tips would be much appreciated!

To be safe - Xerox will always work. Some inkjet printers (including maybe HP) are supposed to work but my one attempt (using a Cannon) was a failure.
The tips I've used are: Always use the blue filter, rub your bulb bases on paper before inserting in the machine, wait 5 seconds after the flash before opening the machine, use the foam things to save ink.
I'm a newbie as well but I've been having fun using the tips above.
Good luck and be sure to post your results.

I tried my HP inkjet printer this weekend and it worked (mostly). I found the text was too messy for my tastes but the graphic items were fine.
