We've got ice! not much to photograph yet but patches of snow are still around from our last mini snow storm and the ground is begining to get solid. So ladymolly I think this forum will come into its own soon.

thanks for the invite. ice is one thing we have in plenty here. salt ice and fresh ice. ice puddles, icecicles and ice storms. we even get ice fog. if not for ice and snow i wouldn't have anything to photograph for half the year. ahahahaha

I've checked out your great Valentine's Greeting Ice flake and I love it! It's made of real ice and that is what we like to see here in the group.

 This began as a picture of the tip of a branch, covered in ice from the December 2002 NC ice storm (see "The twig that launched a thousand snowflakes", uploaded Feb 9, 2007). A kaleidoscope later it became a valentine's greeting. May your heart be happy this Valentine's Day and every day.

Hi all. I really like the photos on this group. I grew up in Michigan, in the states. We get a lot of ice there but I haven't lived there in 20 years! I miss ice and snow! I lived in Texas for 17 years and now I live in London. We don't get much ice here. I went up north a while back and have a couple shots from up there which I will post. Other than that, I guess I'll be looking for ice cream to photograph!
