What
Post snaps of icons, groups of icons, a nice site that has free/shareware icons to browse, but keep the icons cool. there's no reason to post a snap of icons for AOL, since AOL Suxorz. Na 'amean?

How and Why
This pool can also serve as a wayback machine for icon sites, collections displayed online, etc. A good example would be pictures of IconFactory's site from 5 years ago. While it's here on flickr, we'll still be able to see what it used to look like.

Please include proper links to the source of the icons, since some of us are not adept and recognizing all icons, eh? ha.
