His name is Boo Radley -- sometimes I call him Boofer (i.e., Boo Fur) Boy, or Bloofer Kitty, after the "Bloofer Lady," Lucy the Vampire, in "Dracula." ("Bloofer Lady" was the author's way of depicting a young child mispronouncing "Beautiful Lady.") We also have a cat called Lucy, who is actually named after Lucy the Vampire, so I call her a Bloofer Kitty too.
Also Boo Bird, Boo Bird of Happiness, Poo Poo Radley (I tell him he was but a single bi-labial plosive [linguists' word for letters like B or P] from being named after excrement).
Also Killer, Dangerous Killer Kitty, etc., and Buddy, and things that rhyme with Buddy, Like Puppy, Puppy Cat, Puppy Kitten, Fluffy, etc.
When he has a hissy fit with my wife's cats I say, "Ah, knock off the carnivore crap. You carnivores think you're so dangerous! You got nothin' on us omnivores! We have the bomb!

The one I showed today, Balthasar is only called Batti or Bratenbär (as he can be a "Satansbraten" for some time) as a nickname, however others have much more. If I remember I´ll put the nicknames to the comment field during my introduction - which will last for the next 12 days as only one pic per day is alowed. Yes I admit we have 11 companions here for the time and I have some nice pics of two youngsters that passed away too early last year and the year before.

Cereal's nicknames: Seaweed, Seaweed roll, rolly polly, homeless cat (he LOVES cardboard boxes, I have to negotiate to throw away old ones), and litterfeet (sometimes he brings litter everywhere).
Widget's nicknames: Weehey, cutie, Weewee, and kitty cat. (that's what we call him so far, but he's only been with us for a couple months.

Sierra is her real name, but I doubt if she knows it since I rarely call her by it. Her other names include Guardcat, fu-fu-kitty, furbee, fugbug, poo-brain, poopsiewilbie, winkiebrain, snerdbrain, wink, snerk, boo-boo kitty. Fur-bee is the main one though. My cat is Maggie, but I have a special cat language that only she and my boyfriend are privy to hearing:
"Mim-mim" is usually her default nickname; I don't call her "Maggie" unless I'm mad or want her to come inside, then it's "Maggie, dammit!" or "Get in here!"
Then there's "Oosie nin-nin baby" which means "There's my cat." or "There's a cat!"
Then there's "See nin-nin" which means "I see a cat!"
Then there's "Mama" and "Aww dassa nin-nin mim-mim baby"...which is usually reserved for whenever she comes into the room or whenever she does something cute. :)

Amelia is my cat's name. I usually call meeya on good days. When she's not good I'll call her "hairball" but not that often, she's a sweetie. My husband and her don't get along well. He calls her "damned cat". He claims she tried to kill him once. All she did was curl up in a ball on his face while he was sleeping.
