Who can help me out?
 |
For the past few months. I've been trying to find someone to knit two of these Christmas stockings for me. I have no pattern, just this picture. I'm told that a double pointed needle is needed. I'd appreciate ANY feedback, or more info on the sock. Thanks!

Socks are knitted with a set (4 or 5) double pointed needles. Additionally, these are knitted in a pattern which would require someone have the original pattern or develop one (e.g. using graph paper.) There may be reluctance to copy someone's design or other reasons why you haven't had a response. Have you tried searching for this pattern?

I think the pattern would not be a problem. Don't you have any friends who knit? Then it is easier to buy them the yarn and to check back about changes. Or - learn to knit yourself. :-)
Instead of a set of needles you can use one double pointed needle with a plastic cable, too, some people prefer that.

I don't know anyone that knits.... there's a local craft store which sells locally made crafts on consignment.... maybe I'll have to check out someone from there.
