50 states/50 plates
 |
I just joined this group. I was driving home and I thought it would be cool to try to find a plate from every state. I am debating if I have to find them all here in NC (where I currently reside) or if plates found during travel count too. I guess I can decide. Anyway, clearly I have too much time on my hands but I thought I would share.

Well you can cheat and collect them all:

And if you really want to have fun try for all of North America:

You can make it more fun by collecting only one year. For example, one from each state in the year you were born. That would be tough and expensive for me, because I was born in 1933. I have one 1933 plate, but it is a Tennessee plate and I was born in Kentucky.

I agree 1933 would be tough. I've been working on the same thing for 1956. It used to be a lot easier than now, and less expensive too! Of course, I'm trying for one of every type for every state for that year. I've been working on it since 1984 or so.
