drawing on lineform
 |
Is there a way to use lineform to draw freely like on MSPaint? I know my question might seem backwater, but that's what I bought lineform to do. Or, is there a better drawing program to use on a Mac?
Thanks, Bill

As far as I understand Lineform, there is not a way to draw freely like MS Paint. I have drawn things in Lineform using the artistic lines, then convert each line to "outline" and the filled the outlines with colors as I need them. It's a backwards way about it, but it worked for my needs.
I found a great download program called Art Rage 2 that WILL draw freely like MS Paint. They have a partial demo or the full app. for $25 bucks. Seems pretty sophisticated for the price.

interesting.
I take it then, many people are drawing free hand, and then scanning their drawing into the computer so that they can then manipulate it in Lineform?

Would certainly work. Sometimes, I import an image, size and place it just right, and then trace over it on a different layer. When I'm done, I'll erase the image leaving just the traced pieces that I want.
For example: my image Greg Cartoon

Thanks Michael. I'll have to see what you means about using artistic lines. Thanks for sharing about Art Rage 2 as well.
