Let me make my own commentary on this manip, because it's been so slow here lately, and because i like the image so much. I love how the clouds became these huge electric wings in the manip...not planned, but so welcome when it happened. That is a tribute to the original image: a perfect composition resulting in a very easy manip. thanks for re-inspiring me Brian.

I was hoping to get re-inspired myself, and those colors are starting to do the trick, Makita.

Tomorrow never knows...cool manip mick y. In answer to your question: we (the m-drill duo) have been very inspired of late working out new styles of our own pieces. It was only when I saw Soft Star's lovely statue piece that it occurred to me to apply these kinds of alterations to the manip group. And seriously, it has been so slow here of late that I find myself visiting less often. Good question though.

And your bird can sing .... so do you think we should try to get back to the frantic creative we all had over the new year ... or take it all as it comes ... I know I am short on spare time, but I get such a kick out of doing this stuff ... and "hanging out" with like spirits

Not much spare time here either, but there's this weekend thing coming up...
I have a bunch of backdated things I did a while ago that I didn't post and I'll probably post them soon, dredging up old posts, making things look a little busier around here, along with some stuff yet to be mucked up. So I'll be back!

Mick y, i've noticed alot of your manips have beatles memorabila in them. what's up with that(not that it's bad or anything)? You don't have to answer if you don't want to but i've just noticed the similiarity.
