About !masterclass! - (archived)
The !masterclass! has closed its doors a few months ago due to logistic and organizational difficulties (i.e., too much work for the !master!s and administrators).
However, since !masterclass! has been so much fun and was such a great success, we have worked along several lines to revive the main ideas behind this group. Eventually, two new groups have emerged from this effort, which are clearly different in focus and approach:
Please join:
!afterclass!
or the
Flickr ArtsProject
Both groups aim at establishing interactions between more and less experienced flickr members and invite everyone interested to share ideas, tips and tricks, knowledge, ideas, concepts, and of course PICTURES!
Flickr Art Projects is a discussion group with threads dedicated to special themes (called projects, e.g. "Image Composition"). Members are invited to post images into the threads, contribute ideas and resources to special index or resurce threads, and to share their opinions and views on the current theme. Invited peer artists will regularly contribute to the projects. read more ...
!afterclass! takes a less conceptual and theoretical approach, and focuses on more practical aspects and on the exchange of pictures (the pool is open for 12 pictures a month).
Topics from mai to december 2006 and links toward them, are listed in: T.M.
