Better than being weed on by a dog.

Keep up the valiant fight.

They're as rich in software titles and operating systems as they are in Hardware, just as Yahoo are. You admire this man, this William Gates. Uncompromising men are easy to admire. He has courage; so does a dog. But it is exactly the ability to *compromise* that makes a man noble. And understand this: William Gates is the most ruthless CEO ever to sit on the throne of Microsoft. And none of us, and nothing of Flickr will remain, unless *we* are as ruthless.

Well, at least it's obvious Yahoo isn't overly happy with Microsoft's bid:

We all knew that, of course, but still it's good to know we're not alone in this.

Wouldn't it be sweet irony If; As a result of this 'Unsolicited Bid',
M$ pushed Yahoo into Googles boudoir...

( Exactly what they've most feared...? )

Or-- That Google goes to Washington DC ( As they have! ) to Argue against this buy-out on various Anti-Trust Laws, and M$'s lobbyists succeed in buying off enough Senators to allow it...

And then Yahoo uses this Decision to immediately turn around and allow Google to buy them out under substantially more agreeable circumstances.

It doesn't seem like that would be fair to the people that have already posted their pictures to that group...

i can't imagine anyone being so crazy that they would actually be in favor of it...

i've also noticed a big spike in activity to my own account as a result, presumably, of skulking around here for the last week or so...

( not to mention, which i'm conscientiously mentioning now; the attention that i received from the San Francisco Chronicle. )

A Big spike?
My biggest views ever on a flickr image:
-- from PayPaul(Leader Of The WW Tribe) - (?)
1120 views.
And I'm not even in that usual flickr popularity set.
Of course what really counts is my true friends who comment.
Of course as usual no one else has anything to say about this one. Not surprising. But it's a fun ride. It's sort of like a Labor Day Telethon without Jerry and his kids.
Every minute the numbers go up. It's hilarious!

Some flickr member who has a blog calling himself "Dr. Shock" calls it a favorite
feeds.feedburner.com/DrShock
Of course you would think he would have visited the photo, commented on it and faved it?
Nope.
Hmmm...

That's probably because most people in this group are just lurkers. There's only 336 photos in a group of 3036 members?
They don't comment on my photos and they certainly don't make them faves. I would make Explore with this one if you all would!
