Tags on notes

I'm sure tags on note is already discussed elsewhere, but it would be very cool in combination with machine tags since it would allow facebook-style "foaf" tagging, but in a much cooler and more open way!

Thinking about this a bit more, of course notes should not really have tags themselves, rather they belong to the image. It is just that the note itself should be available as a tag to the image, including any tag-on-the-note.
Something like:
notetags:x1=10
notetags:y1=10
notetags:w1=100
notetags:h1=100
notetags:depicts1=lisa
1 here basically meaning note 1. No, this is not the proper way of doing it but close enough.

What about putting "tags" as the note text?
The API's getInfo command returns info on notes, including the coords and note text, so if you tagged up the image with "notetags:depicts=UNAME" (although that brings up which username to use, from the various identifiers flickr offers) and also use a specifically formatted note text (notetag:notedepicts=UNAME or something, maybe even just another notetags:depicts=UNAME, which would make things easier to match, but grates with my instinct to make things distinct) then you can easily grab notetagged images and from there search through the notes and do stuff with the appropriately "tagged" notes.
