Congratulations to everyone!

This group is specifically for fun and educational challenges provided to owners and users of the Nikon D40, Nikon D40x and Nikon D60. There will be weekly challenges, more difficult monthly challenges, and also an award system. Members looking for technical discussions, recommendations for equipment and camera settings, and so forth should check out the Nikon D40/x Users and Nikon D40/x and D60 Club groups.

Group Pool Rules - NEW
Only those images that are submitted to the challenges are allowed to be added to the pool, and those that are not will be deleted from the pool. Members are allowed to add three images per week to the pool. The limit exists to facilitate feedback for the images submitted to the challenge.

Challenge Rules
For each weekly challenge, members can post only one image taken with a D40, D40X or D60 to the thread titled [OPEN FOR SUBMISSION]. The image has to be taken in the week of the challenge. Images older than the challenge will be removed. The EXIF data for the photo must be able to be viewed by the public, this allows admins to check requirements as well as other users to learn more about how a photo was captured. Challenge Voting
After the posting deadline, you must give a star to three of the photos posted in that challenge's discussion thread. Users who submitted an image are required to vote, but your Flickr friends may vote as well. To give a star, paste this HTML code into a comment on a photo:
