Can we have some moderation please? Also - just because you have lingerie and a wide ass, does not make it French new wave.

hi yeled, I agree with you, it's time to delete some photos, though sometimes the nouvelle vague feeling is purely subjective... I was hoping that, since the majority of the pics are good for the pool, people would understand what the pool is about. but you're right, lingerie and wide ass don't necessarily make it a photo to submit to this group.

new wave directors were smitten by post war american crime flicks... odd camera angles, smokey clubs, tough guys & hot chicks with matching dialogue. these movies were always in black & white.
michael mann, director of miami vice, was an afficianado of the french new wave and it showed. he hosed down the streets before night shoots and everybody smoked.
i had a b/w tv when that show first appeared and turned to a french (canadian) station to watch because it seemed so appropriate that crocket and tubbs were dubbed in the language of nouvelle vague.
perfect except for the spooky silent boss (edward james olmos) who looked like an escapee from a bergman film.

I'm not worked up - I'd just like to start some discussion and mediation of the images in here.
It's a great idea for a group, but I find myself avoiding the RSS feed because of images I can't find a link - or the link is tenuous at times.

As the perception of NV is different, and what I see beyond an image is different from everyone else's vision, I can't tell if my photos are in the mood or not. So feel free to tell me so.
