About Historic India

India was a land of powerful kings and great empires that stretched far back into time. It is still as diverse a country as you can possibly come across. The earliest recorded history goes back to 2500BC and there are sites spread all over the Indian subcontinent that one can visit to see, touch and feel for themselves the buldings and art that seem to transcend time. This group was concieved as becoming the ultimate repository of images of those historic sites and hopefully provide a great resource for travellers and students alike.
Images should be very easy to access - to this end please use precise titles, descriptions and tags.
