About Open Art 2007

Open Art is an art show presented by UF student group Florida Free Culture. In meatspace, It will be presented in the Reitz Union gallery on the 2nd floor of the Reitz Union at the University of Florida.

Open Art aims to introduce artists and audience to Creative Commons licenses which enable artists to share their work. All works exhibited will be available for download and, if permitted by the artist, remix/reuse or commercial use. This "open art" will remove barriers to culture and creativity and help artists find a wider audience.

Dates:
Monday, February 19th - Opening Day
Thursday, February 22th - official reception (with food and music)
Friday, March 2nd - End
