CS3 quirky behavior
 |
I am on a Mac, the aluminum one. Had CS2 on previous iMac. It worked great.
I am having odd, random issues with CS3. Sometimes the curser will just blink real fast when I am using spot healing or a selection tool. Sometimes all the menus and tool bar disappear from the screen.I have to restart Photoshop. Do any of you have this issue? Adobe announced months ago they would address it, but mine is still problematic. Ideas?

Sorry, not a Mac user.
But I understand Leopard had some issues with running CS3 (or vice versa),
Either way, are you up to date with your O/S (seems to have fixed issues for some). And have you updated CS3 since installing it ?
Mac updates for CS3 and Bridge.
There is also a link to the Adobe user to user forum for Mac, where you might find an answer using the search link.
I would guess the issue has affected other users at times, so one might expect that forum to have something.

Yeah CS3 Is SHIT on leopard.
Im using 10.5.2 (crap also) with CS3 and there are allot of issues - Some of which were your's (Sometimes all the menus and tool bar disappear from the screen) - Currently i can't use any Short Cut's for actions; I had various key short cuts for actions and whatnot; Now try as i might they just dont work.
Im going back to CS2 and Tiger anyway - 10.5 is kool, but far to rushed and full of stupid bugs; which is lame and really frustrating for a 4 year mac user.

I have had minor problems with CS3 on Leopard.
CS3 works best with new Mac's like the iMac & Mac Pro.
Make sure you do all the updates.
And Leopard is a great OS.
It is worth it just for Quicklook, etc.
