Your best bet would be to use a low-opacity clone stamp with the blend mode set to lighten. You can follow that up with the healing brush.

Here's a very quick example:

Yep...cloning and then touching up with the Healing Brush will do the job !
Remember to burn a little of the cheek/nose area as there will be a shadow there anyway.

">Clone & Heal

Alternatively, select from the opposite side of the face a large enough area to encompass the dark shadow.
Ctrl + C then Ctr + V to copy/paste to it's own layer.
Ctrl + T to bring up the Transform controls.
Right click inside the transform box and select Flip horizontal.
Move the mouse pointer to outside one of the corner grab handles and click and rotate the new skin to suit.
Click and hold inside the selection and drag into position.
You can either add a layer mask, or simply use the eraser to rub out any bits that shouldn't be there.
The selection method will (should) include the shadow of the curve of the cheek from the left (as we look at it), so no need to burn.

I also adjusted the levels to darken the new selection slightly, to blend in better.
