Batch Auto-Levels, how do you?
 |
I'm trying to figure out what is the best method to run 700 images through an auto levels operation?
I'm new to lightroom, but I heard there is a way to batch auto levels. Does anyone know how?
Or what is your method for auto adjustments in either PS or LR?
Cheers

Glass maps wrote I heard there is a way to batch auto levels You need to create an action! Have you done one of those?
Stevekin one of our admins has given a good tutorial in the Photoshop users group which runs you through the process, all you need to do is insert the steps for an auto- levels adjustment.
The tutorial is here
Once you have your action!! you can run it through the batch processing facility in the file menu.

Yes I have done actions before Harry. I heard there was a way in Lightroom that already has a batch function. Thanks for your input.

Just a point, if you are saving as .jpeg's you might be asked each time fro the compression setting you can circumvent this by toggling the little dialogue button that's just to the immediate left of your action step.
