About The Flickr Portrait Gallery

The mission of The Flickr Portrait Gallery is to become the Hall of Excellence in regard to international portrait photography.
Core goals are 'quality', 'creativity', 'diversity' and 'international'.
Each month The Flickr Portrait Gallery holds portrait contests.
The winning image will be awarded with the FPG GOLD MEDAL, published at the FPG home page & in the yearly FPG Hall of Excellence threads (2007 & 2008).
And last but not least.....FPG Gold Medal Winners are going to be invited to become a member of the elusive sistergroup The Flickr Portrait Gallery Hall of Excellence

Only portraits (any style) of humans (not animals !) and try to keep the quality high.
No common snapshots or common people shots.
Excellent snapshots, people shots, streetshots are welcome though.
