About scanned objects - images using a scanner

Images created by placing objects on a flatbed scanner. No camera is needed for this group, and the depth of field can be several centimetres depending on scanner. Great magnification is also possible. The purpose of the group is to scan unusual objects and create intriguing images.

After going for several months now, it's clear that a couple of points of clarification are needed.

1) Faces and body parts are no longer considered suitable. There is another group for them www.flickr.com/groups/scannerd so please put them over there, not here.

2) Please do not post scanned photographs, that kind of misses the point, really.

Any question please contact Andy Roberts
