Winter Sun

Did anyone else get any decent shots the weekend before last when we had that bit of sunshine?
I walked down to the Pier not sure what to expect and was amazed by how beautiful it was in the late(ish) afternoon sun.
This is what I mean :

Ian, I missed w/e before last. I only live at the top of the coast road, but work & family always seem to consume so much time...
I went this weekend, but a little too early to catch warm light of the sunset.
You've captured some great pics - thanks for adding them to the Southport group :)

It's a pleasure.....I've just joined Flickr and was astonished to find there was a group for Southport!
I used to live in Crosby and Formby before moving to the Manchester area with work about 8 years ago.
I've still got family in the area and I also visit Southport for work so still get to stroll down Lord Street every now and then.
