About The OTHER Adobe - Hand built houses

Before digital photography, adobe meant mud bricks! This is the group for photos of mud brick houses, owner built houses, stone, straw bale, bottles, thatching, recycled materials, building techniques - anything ....as long as it is hand or owner built.

Who hasn't wanted to build their own nest? It's an instinct we all have and even though we think we couldn't possibly do it, given the opportunity, materials, skills and time, we could all be owner builders. Please post pictures of anything from little old stone cottages, to modern high-tech solar powered homes. Interiors, exteriors, details - it's all good, and it's all interesting to the owner builder in us all!

When posting an invited pic, should you have similar 'hand built house' pictures that you feel would also be interesting to the group, please feel free to post them too. :)
