OK, I am early, but this photo is perfect. I choose:

I had a hard time making this choice. There are lot's of wonderful images in this group. But after a couple of slide shows and much deliberation, I chose Lu's circle to represent the Triangle Area Group for the next week.
This image and the tags tell a story. It's is about a group of people that take photographs together, but more than that, it is about a circle of friends of varying degrees. We represent a broad range of age and experience. We come together from all over the triangle just for the sake of enjoying one another's company and photography.
Thanks to the Raleigh Flickr Group and the Raleigh Social Group for being flexible enough to invite members from the outlying parts of the triangle to join up with their groups for meetups. If that had not happened, there would probably be no Triangle Area Group.
Thanks to Lu for taking an image that captures the spirit of TAG. A big circle with a triangle in it

It's Friday already! Where has the week gone? Keith had to kick me in the ass to remind me to pick the new icon.
I really wanted to choose outside of my circle of aquaintences for the new icon, and yet when I saw this photo
in the pool I was unable to resist picking it. It spoke to me, "Dan, Dan, pick me..."
So there you are Aimee, our new mascot, I mean icon.

Updated and great choice Dan. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought she was getting ready to ride the short bus. I guess we all should.
All, when you select a photo for group icon of the week, insert the following (or similar) comment on their photo. This way others will get to share the warm fuzzy feeling they get for having their picture shown to the world. Or at least the 90+ people in this group.

Who changed it? I think we should keep Triangle Area Group in the name to keep people ,i.e. me, from getting confused. I vote it is OK to change it like we did last time by adding something after the TAG name.

You are correct Nathan. Just pick a photo out of the pool. Comment somthing like:
TAG, you're it. I have selected this photo to be the TAG group icon for next week.
You have 1 week from when they change it to pick the next one.

Looking at the squared thumbnail of this image by Fairy Brutal , I find it geometric and mysterious enough to cause curiosity, and therefore a looksee at the group/pool... and it reflects a certain Raleigh/Triangle (where rust never sleeps) nostalgia for past glory days. And it looks cool.
