Flickr must be doing something right because family and friends back in Texas actually *look* (and comment!) on my pics now compared to almost zero interest in the old webpage I maintained for so long.

Flickr has also inspired me to be more creative in some of the photos I take (though most will still be of the kids), and is directly responsible for me purchasing a professional Digital SLR.

Am a born and bred hyperactive Texan that has been living and working in Japan for almost 20 years, and have been married 14 of those years to my lovely wife Chizuko with two great boys to show for it.

My philosophy in life is to work hard and play harder!

For those who have interest in learning more about what me and the family do living in Japan, ask to become "friend" and that will open up many more pictures of our family life here.

i'm not sure exactly how i came across Altus but, i'm fairly certain it had to do with his HDR photography and then i just fell for his love of his family and his sincereness in answering each and every question i can come up with :-)
