On the photography side of things, I find myself drawn more and more to macro, though I like general wildlife shooting (zoos, safari parks etc.) and old buildings.

I like HDR too, no apologies, it may be the case that cameras of the future do HDR by default, in which case the whole discussion is merely academic.
