My photos here fall into two types (or a combination of the two): a limited photo blog - this happened to me, I saw that kind-of-thing; and me trying to learn about cameras and photography

I know very little about photography, but I still enjoy posting and learning. Feel free to heckle with extreme prejudice

Most photos you see on this stream have been digitally manipulated. Usually only slightly. Altering the tones a bit to bring out the richer colours that I like, or cropping it down a little is about the extent of it. My philosophy on that (such as it is) has been pretty much expounded in a comment thread on one of my photos. I'm starting to tag my photos to illustrate this appropriately. I'll make the tags available here once I get a system going

All my photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License, so you can do what you please with them as long as you attribute it and let others do the same. If by some freak chance, you want to use a photo for anything, I'd love it if you let me know
