I have noticed a recent influx of people favoriting my children's pictures who have no profile, no pictures, and only favorites of children. If you favorite a picture that has a child in it, your profile will be checked and if it seems to be suspect, I will block you. Don't waste my time or yours.

The same thing goes for those people who want to tag my pictures without my permission and in a language I cannot read.

Something I realized recently is that while I appreciate the art and skill required to create "fashion magazine" quality images, they aren't my bag. I want spur-of-the-moment images. I want to catch you laughing with your mouth full. I want to document life. I am a documentation photographer.

After seeing some of the work on Flickr, I feel like a total amateur. But I don't think that is a bad thing. It means that I see there is a lot to learn and I have the desire to learn it. Each time I look at some one else's images and comment, I learn how to verbalize what I like and don't like about my own photography. Which reminds me, please feel free to tell me what you like and don't like about the pictures I've taken. Even if it is just that the pic is mundane.
