About nunavut  

HI, welcome to my little place on Flickr.

I like to travel, and make as much effort as I can. The world has so much to see, and so many special places like the Sahara and Iguazu falls. These are places that have left a lifetime of memories for me.

I spoke with someone who asked "why take pictures when being there is always better?" I've been refining my answer since. Each photo transports me to a different time and place - and there is inherent beauty (art) in photos. So this is my hobby, my art.

Definition of Nunavut? The Inuit people who have lived in the Arctic for millenia recently got their own self-governed territory in Canada. Nunavut means our land in the Inuktitut language. I chose it as admiration for their respect of nature, and the lessons that they can teach us about living within the natural world.
