Immensely consumed artist, animator, illustrator, graff writer and designer, I am famously married to girlhula and I am a father to two wonderful kids, Ava and Ezra.

Originally from the deep South: Atlanta, GA, and now live and breathe in Portland, OR.

I have a blog (see below) that's sorta taking up some of my free time and I also started some Flickr groups: The Retro Kid, devoted to illustration and artwork from vintage mid-century children's books, games, ads, products, etc.; The Retro Teen, devoted to the same type of stuff during that era, but meant for teenagers; and Vintage Science, where you can find old science books from the 40's to the 70's, and lastly, Vintage Education, the same thing, but with illustrations and artwork from vintage school textbooks and learning materials. Lots of fun to be had in these groups. Darn swell places to stop by and be inspired for days on end. Hope you enjoy.

Regarding "All Sizes": I've changed my preferences where only my contacts can download my images full size. My reasoning for this is because of too many biters out there who take images and ideas from others, turn around and call them as their own. Umm...no. If you would like to download a certain image, let me know and I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, enjoy what you see. My Flickr collection (especially of my vintage items) is meant to be used as a source of inspiration. Please do not take any of my images here and upload them as your own. That is a big no-no. ALSO: all my artwork is copyrighted by me. Do not steal any of my illustrations, sketches or paintings for use on t-shirt designs, prints, coffee mugs, mousepads, etc. DO NOT STEAL.

ANOTHER NOTE: I recently privated any and all photos of my kids. Someone out there thought it was okay to take one of my pics of Ezra and use it in a video they made. That was SO UNCOOL I can't even think straight. Just had to clue you all in on this issue. If you're curious about photos of my kids, again, just contact me. But please, respect my privacy.
