Another shot of my favorite I.M. Pei designed building (he's famous for pyramids and retrofitted the Louvre with one when it was renovated).

This building was to have a twin built across the street, but due to the late 1980's real estate crisis in Dallas, it was never realized.

The plaza is so full of fountains and waterfalls, it offers an oasis in the hot concrete of a downtown Dallas summer. We loved it so much we got married here- it's the most peaceful place in downtown Dallas, and has won critical acclaim for such a publicly friendly plaza- no where else in Dallas comes close.
