Espoir... toujours by ~ ɐǝq ~

Espoir... toujours

NADA. Ni recorte... :)

======================================================================

No post-process at all: No curves, contrast, brightness, retouch of dust or color... or something else. NOTHING. Not even a crop... :)

A drawing of last year too.... of which I'm not very satisfied (I don't like the background), but I take hours doing It (days). There are layers and layers of graphite... ;) The exercise was consisting of doing a drawing with pencil, using those that we needed (better soft ones - B's - than hard - H's -, of course, though they could be used also) and basing us on the "strange light" that have some Hopper's pictures. (This of the light in Hopper is an interpretation of my teacher that I don't share.) This way, the result had to be an image with a rarefied atmosphere, since the lights and shades are not in the place in which they should; that's, that the chiaroscuro is fictitious and invented by me.
It was based on a photo that I found at the Internet and that now I don't have.... (a pity; when I obtain at least the link, I'll post It) and I have added a frame to It with Photoshop 'cause I liked how It looked.

Large, for to see the details of the stroke of the pencil (though in photo looks different than in the original).

Escaleras a ninguna parte // Stairway to nowhere by ~ ɐǝq ~

Escaleras a ninguna parte // Stairway to nowhere

Para adentrarse a caminar en las sombras...
hacia ninguna parte...
en grande, mejor.

Tratando de "acercarme" al maestro Brassaï...

========================================

To enter walking through the shades...
towards nowhere...
larger, better.

Trying to "approach myself " to the master Brassaï...
