I learned this recipe from one of my favorite friends in the world, Sunitha. It contains basmati rice, urad dal, chana dal, peanuts (usually whole but I chopped them up really small this time since I had some dental work, and I'm not able to chew very well right now!), curry leaves, green chillies, black mustard seed, lime juice, turmeric, and salt. I usually serve it with plain yogurt, some sort of pickle (not like pickles, but the Indian condiment pickle, which adds heat), and sometimes chutney. It's one of my favorite things to make, since it's VERY tasty and almost completely made of staples.
